Uros Markovic

Biography

Born and raised in Belgrade,Serbia.
At the age of 7 Uros started taking ballroom dancing lessons which soon became his biggest passion.
After Uros graduated at the Tourism High School in Belgrade,Serbia he decided to fully commit himself  to dancing and make it his primar profession.
Uros became National Champion of Serbia in 10 dances in 2004 and defended the title in 2006. He also represented Serbia at 4 World Championships and became a finalist and semifinalist of many International dance championships.
As a professional dancer Uros performed in many TV shows of National Television of Serbia and was a part of concerts of famous Serbian singers such as Emina Jahovic, Goca Trzan, Ana Stanic and most selling Balkan recording artist Jelena Karleusa in concert "All about Diva show" in Belgrade Arena infront of 15 000 people.

Uros is grateful he had a chance to perform all over the world.In 2009 he performed in Huis Ten Bosch theme park in Japan as one of the featured artists and in 2011 he was hired by Royal Caribbean Productions as a featured ballroom dancer in a show titled "Invitation To Dance" choreographed by Louis Van Amstel from ABC's "Dancing with the stars" which gave him opportunity to travel and perform throughout many countries and cities of Europe, USA,Canada and Caribbean Islands.

 

In september 2013 Uros moved to NYC where he put a main focus on his modeling career. He has worked with many designers and photogrpahers from New York city and in November 2013 he became one of the faces of luxury accesories line Kyu Melange.
In spring 2014 Uros was featured as a male lead in the Music Video of talented artist Joanne Weaver and her song Golden Earrings.
Uros was also lucky to be slected as one of the "sailors" for Christian Dior Cruise 2015 Fashion Show in Brooklyn,New York.

 

Uros hopes he will keep his growth in both ballroom dancing and modeling and develope his skills to the maximum.
